greek yogurt love…

Since reading the book, Master Your Metabolism, we’ve started incorporating more whole, fresh, and organic foods into our diet while minimizing all of the processed junk we used to eat.  One of our happiest discoveries while shopping amongst the hippy granola folks is this vanilla, orange, and cinnamon greek yogurt.

This stuff?  Is curded heaven in a cup!  I haven’t tried freezing it yet, but I’ll bet it would rival any ice cream out there (sorry Braums and Blue Bell, I have another lover now).  Last week, I bought 5 cups of it (it only comes in individual servings – criminal) and by day three, they were all gone without me getting a single one!

I asked Erik about the mysterious and speedy disappearance of the good stuff and he blamed Josie, our fur-baby mutt.  That sweet girl?  Nahhhh… or maybe…

    Actually, yes. Silken tofu in a smoothy with strawberries, bananas and fat free frozen yogurt (also adding natural peanut butter or almond butter is good in it too). I wonder if you could replace regular frozen with the greek frozen. If it would be better. mmmmmm, I think this could go somewhere.

    Trader Joe’s has blueberry and chocolate too, Yum!

    i LOVE greek yogurt mixed with granola. YUMMY! if you want to go even healthier, buy the 0% fat greek yogurt…there are lots of good flavors made my several different companies!
